1. Who can use POV

You must be at least 13 years old to use POV. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms. Don't use POV if we have previously removed you from it.

2. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at support@pov.lol if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Community rules

POV is for honest, playful messages. You must not use it to send or post anything that:

• bullies, harasses, threatens or intimidates anyone, or encourages self-harm;
• is hateful toward people because of who they are;
• is sexual, or sexualises anyone under 18 in any way;
• shares someone's private information, such as their address, phone number or photos, without consent;
• impersonates someone else or misleads people about who you are;
• promotes violence, illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal activity;
• is spam, scams, or links to malicious content;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.

You also must not interfere with the Service, get around our limits or blocks, scrape it, or try to find out who sent a message by means other than the features we provide.

4. Moderation and enforcement

We automatically screen messages and may block, hide or label content that breaks these rules. We review reports, and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or end accounts or access, with or without notice. Anonymity on POV is not a shield for abuse: where the law requires it, or where there is a credible risk of serious harm, we may share information we hold with the authorities. See our Privacy Policy for what that information is.

5. Your content

You own what you write. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and deliver your content as needed to run and improve the Service. Messages you send are delivered to, and can be shared by, the person you sent them to. You are responsible for what you send and post.

6. POV Pro and purchases

• POV Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• It renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Pro features such as sender hints show limited technical information and can't always identify a sender with certainty.

7. Our rights

The POV app, website, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the Service as intended. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of the Service. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will let app users know in the app. Continuing to use POV after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Messages are written by other people, and we don't endorse them. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using POV at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@pov.lol. Sections 5, 7, 9 and 10 continue to apply after you stop.
